3. Jack the Dipper

Jack the Dipper is located at 4 S Tunnel Rd Ste 500 and is open Wednesday-Monday. The shop offers over 32 scoop flavors and is known for its warm waffle cones. Some of its scoop flavors include ​sea salt caramel, Dutch chocolate, birthday cake, and peanut butter cup. 4. Sugar and Snow Gelato

Sugar and Snow Gelato is located at 99 Riverside Dr and is open Wednesday-Sunday. The shop uses organic sugar and dairy from North Carolina farms to make its creamy scoops. Some of its available scoop flavors include caramel praline swirl, mountain berry crisp, and strawberry cheesecake. If you’re looking for a non-dairy option, be sure to try Sugar and Snow’s raspberry rapture sorbet.


5. The Freeze

The Freeze is located at 1091 Patton Ave and is open daily. The shop is locally-owned and serves both soft serve and hard scoops. Some of its hard scoop flavors include blueberry cream pie, chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chip mint, and butter pecan.
