1. High Five Coffee
This modern and cozy venue is the perfect place to relax or to bring your laptop and get some work done while enjoying a hot cup of joe. We like the classics, such as an espresso, an Americano, a cappuccino, a macchiato, or a cold brew. They also serve tea. Try the chai latte or the dirty chai. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, and if you have any questions as to what to order, just ask.
High Five is located at 13 Rankin Ave. and it is open every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
2. Izzy’s Coffee Den
For your traditional cup of coffee or a specialty drink, visit Izzy’s. If you’re hungry, they also serve croissants and other tasty baked goods that make a great match with your beverage. When it’s a hot summer day, have an iced latte or an iced chai. When it’s cold out, the Americano, a latte, or a cappuccino makes a good choice. You can also order for pickup or even have your coffee service delivered.
You’ll find Izzy’s at 74 N. Lexington Ave. and they are open seven days a week.
3. Double D’s Coffee & Desserts
Have a cup of coffee in an old-fashioned London-style double-decker bus. Bring the kids along because they’ll love the setting. Plus, they can have a hot chocolate, chocolate milk, a milkshake with whipped cream, or apple juice. For the adults, we suggest the Shot in the Dark, the Cafe au Lait, a flavored latte, the Double Decker white mocha, the red hot chili mocha, the peppermint bark mocha, or the Dirty Chai.
You can also add a flavored syrup to any beverage. They also have great smoothies, like the Sunny Day, the Bombshell Berry, the Banana Berry Bliss, or the Mango Blast. Please note that they accept cash only. Double D’s is located at 41 Biltmore Ave. and they are open every day.
